Samantha Jeans is in the town of Grispmore in search of her sister, an Investigative Journalist who had earlier come to Grispmore to investigate the existence of a monster rumoured to prey on humans. On the way to her friend Ann, Samantha is approached by a handsome gentleman, Brian, who had found her stolen purse. While having a drink at a local Chinese Restaurant, Samantha and Ann are overwhelmed by the stories related by Brian and they could hardly resist the curiosity to find out more. Their attempt to uncover the truth behind the stories led them to the most horrendous and baleful experience of their lives, an event that would soon come to be known as The Legend of Grispmore.
