"Why are you so distant?" he asked me. His eyes seemed to be starring a hole right through me. "I don't know. It was easier than letting people in just to walk all over me then leave" I replied. He tilted my chin so I was facing him. "You know you can trust me. I won't walk out on you. I'm right here and I always will be". Kay Ricks had spent years building up her walls. She is invisible to everyone and likes it that way. She lives in North Carolina and of course the Grier brothers go her school too. Cause that would make everything to easy. When she started school again the certain boy in her grade starts taking an interest to her mysterious ways.
