This is a story I created for National Geographic's contest Planet Or Plastic. Pollution is a very real issue and I hope that I've at least done a bit to spread awareness.
This story is from the point of view of an anonymous person desperate for change to the point that s/he decided to act upon their worries.

Theories of Global Warming
Global warming is a huge problem for the world, and it's increasing by the day.... Even in Ohio. The winters, which are supposed to be freezing, are as hot as it would be down south. Buildings catch on fire multiple times a week, and still there are people taking no action whatsoever to delay the Earth from dying. However, four middle school kids decide to take action, coming up with an elaborate plan to find out the cause, and potentially stop it from worsening. The only problem is if it's already too late....The Earth might already be destroyed. Follow our main character as she travels around the planet to try and save it, crossing paths with the horsemen of the apocalypse who mean to destroy everything in their path. Is our main character able to overcome terrific odds or is she part of the problem?
