The year is 2029. Life... is total and utter shit. It's been 5 years since the world around us has crumbled. No, the Earth isn't dying. The society is. It's... It's like the purge, I guess.  But, this time, there is no 12 or 24 hours, it's constant. You basically have to know combat or else you are dead. Oh, excuse my manner, I never introduced myself. I am Johnathan Carter, or Jay, which is what I prefer. I have only one, used to be two, person with me. His name is Michael Sevv. He hates his real name, though, so I nicked him. I now call him Micah, which he gladly prefers. We have been surviving since those last 5 years, but.... He is starting to make me.... feel.... something weird. And, surprisingly, I don't really hate it.
