Life's a highway. Unless that highway is filled with zombies, then it's just a Death Road.
Jaime lives alone in the midst of a collapsed country. Life is pretty boring - believe it or not - when there's no Internet, people to talk to, or anything to eat other than cold baked beans from the can. All Jaime can do to fill his free time is splat zombies, wander, and search for ever-dwindling supplies...
That is until two strangers roll into his town and invite him to join them in their journey to Canada: the last known civilization on Earth - a place free from the threat of zombies. With nothing better to do, and with a twinge of desperation, Jaime accepts.
This throws him into a wild adventure that can't seem to decide if it's a comedy, a tragedy, or both. Not everything is as it seems, and Jaime finds that there is much more than just zombies trying to prevent him from reaching Canada.
Will the dream live on? Or will the horde just grow larger?

This book is based off of the game Death Road To Canada. I played the game, recorded everything that happened as it happened, and used the resulting notes as the plot for this story. Everything here is as it happened in the game, save for some obvious character development and setting tweaks...
I am not affiliated with Death Road To Canada and do not claim to own their trademark. I just did this for fun, because I love the game. DR2C wrote the script, I wrote the book.

Eating their flesh then attacking other people, while the ones who got bit and died came back and started attacking the ones who ran- and didn't. Even those in the military didn't stand a chance. It would have been almost horrifying if it weren't for the fact that I was so unattached to everything. Now I'm alone...
What We've Become
This is basically something I randomly thought of.... "What would happen if my life was in the zombies apocalypse?" So this book, will answer that question. Just a warning, this is a fictional story, and this will be f***ed up at all times, so keep your guard up when you read this book. Plus this includes real people like my friends and family, then there will be fictional characters. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book.
