Everything had been shattered. All of the pieces flung to the far corners of the earth.

Astoria Snow used to have everything.

And now?

There was nothing.

++Excerpt from Chapter One++

“Astoria Snow,” she stood and was graceful even in her pain. “But I suspect you know that,” she looked up at him with wide eyes.

	“I do,” Commander Hawthorne’s tone was measured and stable. “You avoided us for longer than most.” He returned evenly.

	“I take no credit for it.” Her voice was clear, concise, and sharp like glass. “Grandfather made arrangements for me should anything like this happen.” She pursed her lips. “His paranoia did have some perquisites.” Astoria lightly tapped her blue painted fingernails on the clear table. Commander Hawthorne cocked his head lightly in her direction. Astoria reached into her pocket and pulled out a small vial that was filled with a clear liquid. “Acta est fabula.” She raised the vial.

	“Excuse me?” Commander Hawthorne strode a few steps toward her.

	“The play is over,” Astoria whispered and closed her eyes.

How I Became a Monster ~ Finnick Odair

10 Partes Continúa

"They look at me as if I wanted to be this way, like I wanted to become this monster hidden from the world." . + * ~ ♔ ~ * + . Daphne Dunn is just like every other teenager in the districts. Her name was written in a small paper, four times now that she is sixteen, and was dropped into a glass bowl. However, she became one of the unlucky ones when her name was selected from the bowl of hundreds of children. The games bring Daphne to the point of insanity, leaving her the shell of the bubbly, outgoing girl she once was. In some people's eyes, she was a monster. The Capitol turned her into a monster and banished her from the light of society to be known the monstrous and murderous victor they made her out to be. However, with the help of her mentor, Finnick Odair, and a lot of patience, the shadow of her might return. Something else might grow between the two, more than just a friendship kind of bond, but only time will tell. . + * ~ ♔ ~* + . Disclaimer: I do not own the Hunger Games or its characters; that was all the work of the amazing Suzanne Collins. However, I do own my own characters and their storylines. . + * ~ Part 1 of a 3 part series ~ * + .
