I floated through the halls and past my many classmates with a warm smile. Everyone smiled back and talked to me like I was their best friend. People complimented me on my dainty appearance and I blushed with pride. But then I woke up, then I realized it wasn't real. I was thrown into my reality and I frowned as I stared at the person that was the cause of this day dream. The person I envied but was my best friend. Her name is Ashley. She is the one every girl wants to be and every guy wants to be her boyfriend. But as you could probably tell, I am her duff. I am the ugly fat best friend. I make her look good. I don't want to, I don't want this life. I have lived through this for 15 years. It's time to end it. I will not be anyone's duff.
