Sharing the same body and mind, Alaine and Masked are two different persons in existence. Masked is a cold hearted assassin who kills the people of Axe Town in the darkness of midnight. Alaine is an average student. 

Nearly no memory of his past exists in Alaine. Trying to find his memory, he discovers himself in the investigation of capturing Masked. Can he find the truth about himself? 

This story takes place in 2056.
