Imagine transferring to a new school your last year and finding it's filled with paranormal beings that only look to be of the normal variety. When Kristy moves to Granite Hills, her expectations aren't really high. All she finds out upon arriving is that she won't be bringing grandma her basket of goodies any time soon...

Moving is hard. Try moving the summer before your senior year. Kristy is taken from her home to join Granite Hills High elite senior class. She's been asking herself what the hell does it mean to be a part of an "elite" class since her old principle told her what an honor it was after her final day at her old school.
Her new school is really small and everyone knows everyone. It's also a school of beings we grow up believing don't exist. She isn't the only transfer though. Cameron Blake, her crush of all time, is there to help her get used to life in the middle of nowhere. Cameron and Kristy investigate strange happenings together, and things get complicated.
Kristy becomes savior to a very important little boy, and friends with the most important guy in her class. Things begin to get comfortable, the creatures begin to stir, and then the beast awakens from its slumber: in other words senior year starts.

There is power brewing beyond anyone's belief. If they thought the Hybrids were a nightmare, what's coming next threatens to obliterate them. It definitely gives a new meaning to the question, "Are you afraid of the big bad wolf?"
