"She said that everything had colour in her thought; the months of the year ran through all the tints of the spectrum, the days of the week were arrayed as Solomon in his glory, morning was golden, noon orange, evening crystal blue, and night violet. Every idea came to her mind robed in its own especial hue. Perhaps that was why her voice and words had such a charm, conveying to the listeners' perception such fine shadings of meaning and tint and music."

The Poem of Snake-Headed God

1 part Complete Mature

The poet starts with the image of something that he thought to resemble that of a god being in the form of manly legs and arms but with a head of a snake and a tiger mixed. And then he begins telling of his certain journeys in the nature of the world and in that of his where he refers to his imaginations, fantasies and many more. Sometimes he gets back to the real life matters but he does not reveal things in an usual form because he intends to dramatise and adorn the simplicity of things. He is seeking for the beauty of things that are not looked at.
