Odessa Rose has been mute since she was 12. Not even her family, after years of hopeless therapy, knows why or what happened to their daughter to make her stay silent forever. 

She's now 21 and still mute, traveling with her friends across the country for vacation all with the expectations of having the times of their lives. 

Until they get lost in the complete solitudes of the deep woods. Hell breaks lose when Odessa's friends disappear and she's stranded by herself with no supplies, no shelter, no directions, and no voice.
