(A little book of poems) whenever I meet your gaze my heart gets stuck in a maze. whenever I see your eyes I feel the spirits rise From the darkness to the light From unfairness to a fight In a silence in the night, From a different kind of fright! An emotion unexplained Leaving a heart completely stained Facing a darker kind of base Leaving no flowers in a vase. But somewhere in this race, it feels more than just a face Of life that is yet to be lived And to be Loved
