On the day of their 16th birthday they were each rejected by their mates, only to accept the rejections and shift later in the day. They run away from their packs and end up meeting with each other, and shifting into a few more things that they thought they would never be. 
Trying  to figure out why they had the powers of the four main elements they search and find out that there are other people with powers. Just the minor ones, stuff like telepathy, ice, talking to animals. You guys know what I'm talking about. As they go on they discover who their parents are ,what they have to protect the planet from and why.

Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
