Emalin Kaeyn is an average 17-year-old girl who lives in London with her brother, Ehligen, who is 14, and her single father, Matt. Living the good life seems like a far away dream for her, becoming reality only in her favorite things: her books and her photos. As a shy girl, she doesn't want much attention, and she is content reading, taking pictures, and listening to music. What she doesn't know is that although she may be a fairly normal girl, her dad's job is anything but ordinary- and her life is about to change in a drastic way.
