Somewhere in the Himalayas is a book of stories, with details of 47 ghosts and the locations in which they continue to live. The book passes from one person to another and once when someone opens the book they have to finish it, or the ghosts will manifest and tell their stories themselves. 20 year old Minnie has run away from her home and is hiding in the Himalayas. She finds the book and starts to read it. When she realises what it is, she throws the book aside, but she meets the ghost from the chapter who insists on telling the story herself as she is not reading it. She realises that she is going to die whether or not she reads the book, and the only way to escape death, is by overpowering the ghost. An avid reader herself, Minnie never thought in million years, that reading a book, CAN KILL HER! New chapter every week; for more trivia and tidbits follow me on @horses may fly on Instagram. Deep in the remote Uinta Mountains, Grayce Morgan never expected to inherit anything from her estranged uncle-let alone a secluded cabin surrounded by endless miles of wilderness. She arrives intending to clean it up, list it for sale, and leave. But the mountains have other plans. At first, it's the unsettling silence. Then, the strange tracks in the dirt. The eerie sensation of being watched. But when something in the darkness starts calling her name-using the voice of someone she trusts-Grayce realizes she isn't alone. What was supposed to be a simple trip turns into a waking nightmare as she uncovers the terrifying truth hidden in the trees. Something ancient. Something relentless. And it's been waiting for her. With no way out and the shadows closing in, Grayce must decide: will she run, or will she fight? A chilling thriller inspired by folklore and fear, this novel will keep you turning pages long into the night-just don't forget to lock the doors.
