I have known Nikki since we were in high school together, him 18, me 16. I knew him back when he was "Frank". We were close for a whole year before he decided to get out and go to L.A. Instead of just letting him go, I ran away with him. I didn't want to lose my best friend. I haven't spoken to my family since then. 

I thought I knew why I did it, I was 16 and Nikki was my only friend, but looking back, I had begun to fall in love with that crazy boy and I couldn't bear to be apart from him. 

So, join me on the journey of how I discovered how I fell in love. I had no idea I loved him for all those years until I sat down and looked at him and every part of me screamed, "I love this man."
