Fear filled my soul, its powers prickling my very core. I did the one thing no brave person should. I screamed as loud as my voice would allow me.

Running to the door, I pounded my fists on its wood screaming like a child seeing the boogeyman.

"Help! God dammed, someone help! Please!"

The door kept moving but not opening, and the hinges were still intact. I turned around and saw no one near the glass, no woman but a note, written on the window.

"Run."
