Eddie Brock, unknowingly to majority of the vast population besides a few people, had just saved the world from total extinctive invasion from the sentient alien species labeled as Symbiotes. But, after returning to whatever normalcy he can, he finds it easier to stay away from people for the sake that they don't get hurt by him. Now that he has Venom, he doesn't feel too alone with living the quiet life, and has found peace without Anne at his side.
Anne had chosen to stay with Dan - that doctor guy, as Eddie loosely referred him to, despite how Venom had rather taken a liking to Anne being with Eddie. But the TV reporter has decided just stick with under-the-radar crime-fighting at night unless something big comes along again.
That is, until he saves a young lady who has an unimaginable gift of her own.
