This is a story about a young girl named Faith, she is only just turned fifteen and she lives in a post-apocalyptic world, were a fungal infection mutated and spread among civilization, causing them to be extremely dangerous and contagious. She is finally old enough to go on her first expedition, where the quest to find somewhere safe starts. She is one of the few millions who survived the contagion, they call themselves the remaining ones.
