I just wanna first say I wrote this before Maleficent 2 Mistress of All Evil came out soo... sorry for me having the wrong theory.
Maleficent gets gravely ill and Diaval has to take care of her all the while Maleficent starts to realize she is beginning to develop feelings for Diaval. Not only that but some of her old feelings start to reemerge, making her confused about her feelings. In this version Aurora was born a year after Maleficent and Diaval meet so shes just 14 years old but we do see a little of the curious princess because I like thinking she was young when she was brought in to the Moors.
P.S. I do not own Maleficent characters but Robin is my own character It is also a little gory. Work in progress!
