Jace Evans doesn't get into trouble. He maintains average grades, never does drugs or drinks alcohol, and stays home on weekends. His friends consist of an overly enthusiastic beagle named Bartholomew, a soon to be six year old, and occasionally, the angsty teenage girl next door who's passionate about hating the world. So what happens the one time he slips up? His parents decide to send him to summer camp as punishment. The downside? Along with the overall idea of it, it's a camp for small children. The upside? Alec Walker is someone who everyone knows and likes, though he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. Neither of those two boys seem very different from each other, both are kind, well-liked, and very handsome. Even if they aren't friends, you wouldn't expect them to dislike each other. Well, sadly that is incorrect. Ever since they can remember, they have each hated each other with a burning passion. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying and throws his personality in everyone's faces. Those seem like very small or petty things that they could easily overcome by having a conversation, but both are too stubborn for that. It is a mutual hate that neither will give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic.
