At Dennville High, mingling can get pretty exclusive. Getting dragged into the spotlight of popularity has only made me create an image of myself that I don't even recognize. My escape? Surfing. The probability that I might get attacked by a shark? I don't care. I surf til dawn. Bad habit? No way. This whole time I've felt like the only girl at Dennville pretending to love my popular life; particularly because I have an embarrassing secret only my best friend knows about. The real me could care less about popularity, but the popular me, has all the excuses to worry about her social stigma status at Dennville High.
