At Dennville High, mingling can get pretty exclusive. Getting dragged into the spotlight of popularity has only made me create an image of myself that I don't even recognize. My escape? Surfing. The probability that I might get attacked by a shark? I don't care. I surf til dawn. Bad habit? No way. This whole time I've felt like the only girl at Dennville pretending to love my popular life; particularly because I have an embarrassing secret only my best friend knows about.
