Mukuro Ikusaba has been through many wars, taking many lives, and achieving many victories. There's one battle that looms over her, with no foreseeable escape. The name of that battle is Despair, in which she is a slave to its general, her sister, Junko Enoshima. What will happen when Hope suddenly comes into her life though, in the form of a heroic action. Will Mukuro be able to escape the darkness, or will despair dictate her life once more?
