This is a short story. 

Following is the  witness statement, written by Addison Finch, of her recollection of the events that lead to the disappearance of her younger sister, Natalie. She tells her perspective of what she thinks to be the the truth of what happened before she woke up in the hospital after being in a coma for two and a half years.

This is one of my first short stories and it needs some edits. Please comment and send me any ideas you have for what you think should be fixed or added. The ending is also not included. Feel free to send in ideas for what you think should happen next!

"Every time I close my eyes, I see a man with long arms and no face." said Emily. *** Adam lives in a small town in Massachusetts with his two daugthers and husband. He gets a phone call from his youngest daugther on the way home from school. She tell him she'll take the way through the forest, but promise to be careful. They say goodbye and hung up. But she never comes home. Adam report her missing. He gets another call later in the night from his husband. He tells me that Emily is in the hospital. She was found unconscious in the woods by the police. Luke says she has horrible nightmares about a man without a face. Adam and Vanessa quickly go to the hospital to be by her side. Three days later, Emily is allowed to return home. But she's not the same again. She has still nightmares and she see things that nobody else see. Adam and Luke are very worried about her. When Emily is accused of stabbing her classmate, they know they have to help her.

The Golden 30 Last Seconds "0 minutes and 59 seconds." I say out loud. They all look at me, confused. "That's how long I have before they come. I'm sorry I didn't ell you earlier, Brook and Blake." I look at Jason who has sadness, disbelief, despair, guilt, and loneliness mixed in one on his face. I tilt my head at him. Why does he feel guilty? It's not his fault that thy are here. It's mine. Where are you going? Aren't you coming back?" He says with panic in his voice. I look at my friends one by one. "Thirty seconds."
