Jaelyn Williams was your classical nerd. Never had she ever gotten a grade lower than a 95. However, this wasn't always a good thing. Because of her grades, her mother always expected her to be the top in her class, and nothing less. Due to the heavy expectations set by her mother, Jaelyn slowly became overcome with anxiety. Soon, it became hard for her to live due to her anxiety. Now you have your classic cocky male lead. Jay King was, in fact, THE king of Welton High School. Everywhere he went, there were girls checking him out and boys wanting to be him. Now of course, for his cocky self, this was one of the very reasons he lived; for the constant love and attention. This triggers dislike in Jaelyn, and she highly dislikes Jay for his ways. However, there's more than what meets the eye. What if there is more to Jay than what Jaelyn can see? !! Will include swearing !!

Academic rivals by day, secret soulmates by night. Jungwon thinks romance is illogical. Jay thinks love is written in fate. Their rivalry is legendary-fighting over grades, who can type faster in class, and who can roll their eyes harder. But when Jungwon stumbles upon a mysterious note tucked inside a library book, he unknowingly begins a secret correspondence with someone who challenges his view on love. Neither of them realizes the truth: the stranger leaving letters is the same person they argue with daily over whether or not "café studying" counts as real studying. As words exchanged in ink turn into something deeper, will they connect the dots before it's too late? Or will their greatest mystery remain unsolved-just like Jay's missing pen that Jungwon definitely didn't steal?
