The future is a mess of Sectors and Segments, with Wastelands from the nuclear war spanning vast distances. The electricity and oil have gone and only a quarter of the world population remain.
Amy is one of those survivors.

She lives illegally existing in the Segments, her life is being constantly hunted by the United Front's military ground force, the Informants. After seeing her family murdered and her home burned to the ground when she was only 15.

She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.Lengkap
