Mature
Nathan is cynical, bitter and lives in fear of getting hurt. He lives alone with his mentally distressed mother, his time is consumed with making money for her expensive medication. He has no friends, he has no fun, he has no life. Enter Emily. Emily is entirely fearless and selfish yet still vulnerable, the entirety of what Nathan wishes he could be. They meet in the worst of circumstances, and strike a quick friendship. Together they help repair the other, and their friendship soon develops into more. But people don't change. And Nathan's fear only develops, while Emily struggles to help him. Can they work? Is love all-powerful? Note: There is NO explicit sex in the story, there is just quite a lot of bad language. The R rating was signed automatically and I've tried changing the privacy on chapter two but it seems that they want to keep it that way. I feel the bad language is necessary to tell this story.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
