I had the idea for this story back in 2007 though I didn't begin writing it until early April 2009 and it would be June 2013 and then again in December 2018 when the story would be resurrected and an attempt would be made to improve it. What I hope is a final edit, comes in October 2022. This story also inspired me and gave me a basis and a few ideas to go on and write my first novel length story THE PATHFINDER MISSION.
