Zodia was a strong planet that kept the peace of its solar system for millennia holding back the darkness of their neighbors. However when a natural disaster left them weakened those they held in check turned on them, nearly wiping out the entire population and capturing most of the survivors. Yet over a hundred of the people of Zodia managed to flee to earth, including those chosen to succeed the thirteen monarchs. However the enemy followed them to earth bent on finishing the job and eliminate the last free members of the species. Many have fallen yet nearly a hundred remain.
