Set in a futuristic-medieval world, Keith is the prince to a kingdom ruled by his tyrant parents. Tired of their abuse, he joins a rebel group to take them down.
On a mission, a member of the Royal Guard mistakes him for a woman, on account of his misleading appearance. But instead of correcting him, Keith goes with it. On his next mission, he meets the guard again, but this time he's ready - his long hair is out, his nails are painted, and his eyes are lined with perfect wings.
As Keith continues to make progress with his missions, the guard continues to show up to thwart him. Their duels soon become a regular occurrence, and somehow Keith begins to look forward to them.
"How come you always pick the nights when I'm on duty to show up?"
