It's been a whole generation since the last time the incarnation of Hyrule's evil has shown its face. While many believe that this means the Cycle of Destruction has finally come to an end, the Hyrulian Royal Family and the Skeikah know better. Zelda has the Triforce of Wisdom, and the Triforce of Power is out there somewhere, waiting for its wielder to come forth. Things have changed so much since the great legends of yore. 

Maybe too much. The shadows of the past are waiting to strike once again. Just a little longer...

She's the only one who believes he's still out there, everyone else has moved on but her. She's stuck in a repeating cycle, her mind only focusing on one thing. What if Link was on the verge of death? Goddess Hylia opened up a portal when the hylian hero Link was close to dying at the hands of Calamity Ganon, who has a way to stop the reincarnations. What if something went wrong? What if the triforces were mixed up? Ganondorf gets courage, Link becomes wise, Zelda becomes evil. Can the castle astronomer, Y/N, fix all this before it's too late? "Oh, Y/N!" Zelda cried "What do I do? I need to have Wisdom- not power!" Zelda flopped down on the stone steps. Y/N pats her friend's back "Maybe it's a mistake..?" "Hylia makes no mistakes!" Zelda bursts out. "Who could've ended up with Wisdom...?" Zelda muses. Y/N taps the princess lightly and points to Link, who is whistling quietly in the corner. "Remember when he fixed the guardian?" It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Zelda had been power hungry for years. Years before the mark of the Triforce of Power appeared on the back of her hand, she'd always thrown fits if something didn't go her way. Now, at only seventeen and fully gifted with the Triforce of Power, she made sure things went her way, and her way only. Ganondorf had escaped the Sacred Realm somehow, and returns to the Gerudo Village in peace. Accidentally blessed with the Triforce of Wisdom, he acknowledges the Gerudo's hard work and thrives to make his village a better place for everyone. Link, still possessing the Triforce of Courage, has been assigned to be Zelda's personal bodyguard and do something horribly wrong to please her majesty, which he does not partake in ever doing. Fate brings Link and Ganondorf face to face. Somehow, Link and Ganondorf team up and secretly plot against the princess to stop her vile plans to make Hyrule miserable.
