"You're a what.?" He asked in disbelief. "I'm a mermaid. That's why I brought you here. To the place where I became one." I explained. "Avery, I don't believe you." He shook his head and started for the exit. A tear rolled down my cheek. After everything we've been through, he doesn't believe me.? "I can prove it.." I slowly turned to the water. My name is Skylar Smith, On a normal walk back home from a friends house, a storm hits. I get sucked down into a whirlpool and I come out with fins.
