The colony was abandoned by Earth long ago, but the people survived, and by creating an authoritarian system they have managed to become a society. But the development of super weapons has put the solar system on the brink of war-against each other, and against themselves. Despite their differences, Jason, Coleen, and Peter find themselves banded together in what may be humanity's only hope. They must find a way to stop the war before the clock runs out.
