Todos alguna bes hemos escuchado del HOTEL CALIFORNIA, ya sea en su bersion original o en español. 
La historia que aquí se relata es fascinante, pero deja muchas dudas, por ejemplo: quien es la persona que llego a ese lugar, quienes son los que se encontraban ahí no podían irse, y lo mas atemorizarte de todo por que no pudieron matar a la "Bestia".
Esta novela tiene la esencia de los años sesentas y setentas, cuando se estrenaron películas que asían alusión a sectas satánicas  como "El bebé de Rosemary" y"La profecía". Se a dicho que HOTEL CALIFORNIA en realidad es un himno para estos grupos oscuros, pues incluso señala el año en que se fundo la primera iglesia satánica en Norteamérica: 1979.
Con estos datos, el autor ha escrito una historia llena de acción, suspenso y horror, donde por primera bes -desde 1979- se cuenta una historia alterna en la que escuchamos en la canción, basándose en historias y leyendas que encierran esta melodía, así como las fotografías del álbum. Con la publicación de esta novela basada en una canción el autor la convierte en la primera en su genero en el mundo.
