I thought I was normal. That's what I was always led to believe anyways. But then one day a portal opened up in my closet and someone yanked me onto the other side. Ever since I was a kid, I knew I was different. Other children didn't like hanging out with me. I was silently bullied, and even the teachers seemed to hate me. And honestly? I was ugly. I really was... different. The way I talked, the way I walked-people even said my walk was horrifying (don't ask). The way I did things, the things I found interesting... they all set me apart. Then I entered high school. Suddenly, I became popular. I was beautiful, with a figure people envied. I had tons of friends-three-quarters of whom I still don't know by name. The Boy Who Found Her
Prologue A long time ago, there was a girl with her short height who always spent her break time the same way quietly tucked away in her secret place under the tree, reading her notes. Every day, without fail, sometimes she sat alone by the window in the farthest corner of the classroom, hidden behind a curtain of silence and sunlight. The world outside bustled with chatter and footsteps, but in her little corner, time seemed to slow down. She always wore her earphones, soft music playing just loud enough to drown out the noise. Her long black hair fell gently over her shoulders, framing a face that was too often lost in thought. She didn't care how she looked why would she? She believed no one was watching. To her, this moment of peace belonged only to her. But she was wrong. She didn't know that someone had been watching her all along. A boy. He sat a few rows away, quiet and unnoticed just like her. Day after day, he observed her from a distance, curious and drawn to the way she seemed so content in her own world. He didn't know her name. He didn't know her story. But something about her made him pause, made him want to understand the silence she lived in. What she didn't know was that he would soon become the one to change everything she believed about herself. He would be the one to break her quiet world And he would be the one to show her that happiness still exists in this world.

Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it.
