"The sun that rises in the sky is not the first and will not be the last. I know this because she was reborn at the same time as I. She was created from the tears of Luna and Sols rage for her fallen sisters. I was remade from the bones of the old lords of Xibalba; the blood that runs through my veins from Quetzalcoatl himself. I am one of the five."

Alanis is one of the Five, one of the originals, one of the first to walk on Gaia during the fourth sun. With her four siblings she lives in La Ceiba, the tree that connects Xibalba to the heavens. They renounced the Gods and have taught men to follow their treacherous ways. Famine, illness, and dangerous Alux are just the beginning of what they have brought upon their world.

No longer willing to stand by and witness the destruction of mankind due to her sibling's blasphemy Alanis renounces her title and goes to live among men.

Centuries after her disappearance the story of creation and her existence are wiped from history. The Four have locked their selves away at the top of La Ceiba and have claimed the titles of Gods. As punishment for their blasphemy the Gods have sent creatures through the void to destroy Gaia. The only thing keeping them at bay is Chacal the king of Jaguars and the love the god Quetzalcoatl holds for Alanis.

Quetzal hears the cries from those that still follow the old ways and finds this the perfect opportunity to get what he has always wanted. Always one for games he offers Chacal an opportunity he cannot refuse. If he is able to complete five quests and bring Alanis along he will leash the creatures from the void. Determined to right her sibling's wrongs Alanis joins Chacal. Together they will have to overcome wandering spirits, cunning Alux, and venture through dangerous lands to collect the objects that Quetzal demands. Quetzals obsession with Alanis is what has kept them alive but Alanis' heart belongs to another, Quetzals brother Xolotl.

Mercenaries of the Gods: Chronicle Two - Adventures by DANordness

Hey you. Yes, you! The Seer is looking for you again. What? Did you think that was the whole story? That was just part one of three. This is part two. At least concerning the Mercenaries. Anyway, this time the Seer has five stories for you this time. The first one is about Alan. He's talking to some cops about how he got his powers. It's a crazy story with a croc-clam and a Lord of Evil who isn't that bad of a dude really. In the second story, you find out what happen with Grania, Kadlin and Squeaks when they go to Greece. There's a sorority squabble, a Lich Queen and other cool, strange and dark stuff in it too, but I don't want to give too much away. In the third story, you find out what happened to Thrack and Rina when they went to China. There's a lot of mages, a big keg, a few sluts for hire and a bloody fairy. It's a fun and sad story, but it's awesome, trust me. Next, you'll find what happens with Alan in Antartica. That story is insane with lots of dragons, and you'll finally get to see why everyone is so afraid of Alan. Finally, you'll read about all those paths converging, all the old friends, and a few new ones, reuniting and you'll be set up for part three. But seriously, the Seer is expecting you again and, if I've learned anything about the multiverse, it's that you don't keep an infinite waiting. So, it's time to return to the Seer, because if the Seer made time for you, you, and what the Seer wants to show you, must be important... This story is unedited, and I wouldn't mind a cover. Thank you for reading the intro if nothing else.
Journey into Eternity [mlm] by godofworlds
45 parts Complete Mature
"As light and darkness will be... Ever seeking balance." The world of Lovis was created by two Goddesses, who worked together to bring about light, darkness, life, and death. The power of light and dark harmonizes, creating a perfectly balanced world that all the residents living in Lovis wholeheartedly enjoy. However, there was another Goddess; a twin sister to the one who brought about light and life to Lovis. Originally like her sister, this Goddess sought a different path, becoming only corruption and seeking to destroy all that her sister and the other Goddess created. To prevent this from happening, the corrupt Goddess was secreted to her sister's shadow, where she would hopefully soon be consumed by her light. Unfortunately, that did not work. Corruption is an evil form of darkness, for when you have too much darkness without light balancing it out, it can become something chaotic. When too much corruption eats away at the original darkness in the air, it creates a rift made of chaos and corruption. These rifts are portals to other places. If too many of these were to open all at once, passages will be made for things from other dimensions to travel through, entering a world they do not belong in. For this corrupt Goddess, chaos such as this is all that she strives for. Not only will a perfectly balanced world, like Lovis, crash and burn, but all other worlds in the universe. It is safe to say that not all worlds are as lovely as Lovis... At least, that's what a group of friends from Lovis believe after witnessing for themselves the horrors that belong in these other worlds. Saving not only Lovis, but all other worlds in the universe is what a group of heroes set out to do, joined by others. However, no one in the group would have believed that their journey would turn out to be something much deeper. Two people will forever seek each other out, craving balance... Unaware they're doing so.
Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
101 parts Complete Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (ongoing) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

In a world surrounded by evil and shadows, a young healer's defiance becomes legend. When Vaela Thorne is dragged to the Mountain, a place of nightmares ruled by a monster in silk and blood; her fate seems sealed. Scarred, silenced, and stripped of everything but the fire in her veins, she refuses to kneel for a self-proclaimed 'High Queen'. But night watched her from the throne's edge: Rhysand, feared High Lord of the Night Court, whose cruelty is matched only by the secrets behind his eyes. The High Lord recognizes her as the ghost of a female he would dream of; he then takes her as his 'pet', where Vaela and Rhysand are forced into a deadly dance of masks and a bargain, where every lie hides longing, and every touch is edged with danger. When they shattered the chains from Amarantha, and Rhysand calls upon their bargain, he takes Vaela to his Court. Where they both fought to know and find freedom once more. But Prythian was never truly free: an ancient evil darkness stirs in the forgotten corners of the world. Not of this realm, hungering for destruction, it's gaze fixed upon Vaela and the secret she carries deep in her soul. Now the fate of courts and hearts hangs in the balance. And as love blooms in the heart of night and war shadows the horizon, Vaela must reckon with who and what she truly is. ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ Ranking history: #1 in acourtofthornsandroses #1 in rhysand #1 in cassian #1 in romantasy #1 in throneofglass #1 in elf #1 in azriel #1 in tog ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ •Rhysand x Main OC and eventually later on through the story: Azriel x OC and Cassian x OC. •This story will have a different story plot than the original. •Story is 18+ only. •Peep my patreon for 'Fated' content and spicy art ;) •DISCLAIMER: All rights of the ACOTAR universe belong to Sarah J Maas except for my OC's.
