The inspiration for this cursory poem roots from the young girl named Aza in 'Turtles all the way down' by John Green. That very novel has, in my opinion, one of the best depictions of anxiety disorder. Thank you, dear author, for this masterpiece.

She helped him see life from a different perspective, and little did he know, he saved her from many fears as well. The closer they grow, the stronger their bond becomes and they soon find out life is nothing without one another. But then one night at a party, something changes in the air, and a familiar girl shows up, recking everything. Everything Matt and Lanie had was gone, their friendship, their chemistry, everything.
