When a girl wakes up in a strange place, not remembering how she got there or the events that took place the night before; and her only clues are small flashes of memories that come randomly. She is freaked out, especially when she finds out her brother is missing. Realizing she is in a place far away from where she grew up, she will do anything to find her brother and get home where every that might be, even if it means risking her life, and forfilling a prophecy the Givers are so sure is her role to play.
