I'm told that I must be pretty, with all the makeup and the clothes. I don't feel beautiful, though I am told I am. The face I put on day after day, morning after morning is getting tiring. I want to give up, it hurts to keep this lie up. Everyone strives for beauty, only a few are actually born with it, others paint it on so the they finally fit in with the crowd.
