Cassandra Flanagan has just been given the unwinnable assignment. An officer in His Majesty's Royal Armed Space Forces of the Star Commonwealth, and a self-professed "accidental" noblewoman, Cassandra has gathered more than her share of enemies. Foremost among them is the man who sits upon the Commonwealth's throne, King Mahomet. Eager to get her out of the way of his son's succession, he sends Cassandra to the Azagnani Sector; a hotbed of separatist movements, with virtually no support, and orders to strike first. While he believes Cassandra's failure to be all but assured, he hasn't accounted for two things: Cassandra's determination; and her young niece Salibelle, a freshly-commissioned Intelligence officer. Together, Cassandra and Sallibelle must piece together clues that will link the Azagnani separatists to Azagnani's most prominent noble, Otto von Brauneis. However, when those clues suggest a connection deep inside the Solar Empire ... the enemy of the Commonwealth and all other free star nations; Cassandra and Sallibelle find themselves in a high-stakes game of life or death.

The year is 2889. Three hundred and thirteen years after fleeing a dying earth, the Universe Association has never been stronger. Eight colonized planets, an organized government, and one man at the head of it all are not expecting change. Still, change can spread like fire if sparked in the right place. Daisy Edelweiss, crown princess of Neptune, begins her first year at the Universe Association Academy. Life in a reconstructed Earthen city is as alien to her as her planet once was to Earth, and the invitations to join secret rebellion groups aren't helping. Not to mention the other royals in her class, some of whom can't get off their high horses, and some of whom have the nicest brown eyes... Artemisia McCourt, the youngest senator in training at UAA, must also adjust to life away from the blue planet. Her aptitudes for politics and writing land her a reputation among the Universe Association as either a tool or a weapon, depending on who gets to her first. Everyone's holding their breath for the Little Senator... Terra Solum, crown princess of Mars, is trying to decide whether to give up her crown to her diabolical younger brother, or keep the crown and be forever trapped in a life she doesn't want. A temporary arrangement is made, during which she is allowed to teach at UAA and keep her title while she decides which life she wants. The decision would be far easier without the former crown prince of Mercury and his perfect hair in her way... Royalty, rebellion, and romance collide in Something We Miss. RESIST OR DIE. With the passing of the summer solstice, the United Kingdom of Callista has come together to celebrate the independence of their nation and the continuation of the Age of Illumination. Like many in the capital of Agosia, Helisah Almari is looking forward to a new year, the possibility of a new love, and the beginning of her studies at the Royal College with her twin brother, Aegras. As the Royal Light Show begins, the joy of the young elf soon turns to horror as the Telurian Lord Thrakoth launches a surprise attack that plunges the city into chaos. In a matter of hours, the world that Helisah knew was gone. Agosia has fallen. Death reigns supreme. Helisah and Aegras are cornered by the Telurian hordes as a city burns around them. It appears that no hope remains for the twins until they are suddenly rescued by a team of assassins known only as The Raiders. Consumed by a burning rage over all that they have lost, Helisah and Aegras are inducted into the mysterious order as an apocalyptic war breaks out across the world. Joined by their fellow Raiders and a band of citizens that dare to resist the invasion, Helisah and Aegras must find a way to thwart the grand design of Thrakoth and his rising empire by any means necessary.
