This is the story of three characters in the Hunger Games. Follow the lives of Rue, Cato, and Foxface before and in the 74th annual Hunger Games.
(I own none of the characters except for May and Scarlet. I just thought it would be a good idea to give some life and background to these characters.)

Seventeen year old Finch Crossley has been chosen to participate in the 75th hunger games, and she is absolutely devastated by it. With her experience with throwing knives and survival, she thinks that she can at least make it to the top ten... until she meets the rest of the tributes, which include a small yet nimble girl named Rue and her bulky district parter Thresh, Katniss, who may look small and weak but is a complete powerhouse when it comes to using a bow and arrow, and of course the careers. Now Finch is not so sure about being able to make it to the top ten at the least. While training, a certain someone catches her eye. The story of Cato and Clove before and throughout the Hunger Games. Cato: I've known who she was since I was ten. Since I was ten, I watched over her. I looked after her. I protected her even if she didn't know it was me. I love her. And I will do anything to save her because she saved me first. Clove: He's an arrogant, rich prick. I should hate him. But I don't. Rue lives with her family in district 11, starving, and slowly dying, this year Rue applies for more tessarae, to feed her family. But, tessarae comes at a price, her name is placed into the reaping ball, more than the once needed, and her name is produced. Meaning she will compete in the 74th annual hunger games.
