War between two worlds had been instigated.

Lunas and Solars were inhabitants of Planets Lune and Sole respectively. World War II indirectly led to hunger for revenge on Humans of the Solars.

Soon after, Solar scientists discovered that melting Lunas leaves behind a silvery liquid which can allow one to control human minds. Therefore, a war between the Solars and Lunas was instigated as Solars attacked the Lunas and seized as many Lunas as they could in attempt to make Humans their slaves forever.

However, Lunas which survived the mass murder fled to Earth. The Solars then sought to track down and catch the remaining Lunas on Earth to melt.

Some Solars disapproved of this, so they formed the United Solars Protection Association (USPA) to fight for justice for the Lunas. Many took on the role of a Guardian, which is to watch over the Lunas on Earth to protect them from harm.

Louisa Leiston is a teenager living in the United States of America as if she were human, just like the inhabitants of Earth. However, on 17 July 2024, her life changed forever as she embarks on a journey to understand her roots and join the fight for justice for her own kind alongside her own Guardian. Through this process, she also finds romance.

Targeted by superpowered terrorists, an actress is protected by the government's strongest guardian--the same woman who broke her heart two years ago. ☆ Elsie Bates won't deny that she's made a few enemies during her fifteen-year acting career, but she never thought her actions would warrant her death at the hands of meta-human terrorists. As if that wasn't bad enough, her federally appointed bodyguard is the famous Camilla Wyatt, the most powerful guardian in the country and Elsie's sworn enemy. Because behind Camilla's sunny personality is a cold and heartless young woman, and no one but Elsie knows the truth. At least, that's what Elsie initially thinks. As it happens, being forced into a protective lockdown with someone can change perspectives, and Elsie slowly uncovers the secret behind Camilla's complicated character. In turn, Camilla begins to realize that maybe "trust issues" shouldn't be in her superpower repertoire, and self-preservation doesn't necessarily require self-isolation. But as the women grow closer, so do the forces that attempt to split them apart. And when the worlds of superpowered militaries, propaganda movies, and hidden conspiracies begin to collide, Elsie and Camilla must rely on each other to survive. ☆ INCLUDES: ✓ Militarized superheroes ✓ LGBTQ+ romance ✓ Diverse characters ✓ Subtle sociopolitical commentary ✓ "Science" FEATURED: ★ 2023 Amby Awards Top Pick (Sci-Fi) ★ @lgbtq Pride Awards 2023 Category Winner (Sci-Fi) ★ @FreeTheLGBT Pride Awards - Third Place ★ @TripleACommunity Aro Ace Awards - Shortlist ★ @superhero, @FreeTheLGBT, @WattpadUrbanFantasy, @StoriesUndiscovered Mature rating is for violence, grotesque descriptions, and swearing. [DISCONTINUED] **MATURE LANGUAGE AND CONTENT** **POSSIBLE TRIGGERS** WATTYS2018 I walk down the staircase, entranced with his sharp, angular features. I notice how his lip curls up at the edge when he sees me. A soft breeze blows his scent across the room, and I can't think. Roses and salty ocean waves fill my nostrils. Add sunlight to the mix- which shouldn't have a smell but Luna, he smells like it- and I'm pretty sure if I could open my mouth, I'd be drooling. 'Mate.' My wolf whispers, giddy. I scramble back up the stairs. ____________________ Opening up when something terrible happens is hard. Near impossible. Or Skip the chapter. 18+ ______________________ The year is 3999. Nearly a thousand years after a alien infection was set loose by the intelligent lifeforms know as Irinaut. No one knows exactly how they were able to make such a infection, but it was capable of destroying nearly all life on Earth. Those who couldn't hide or make it to the ships to escape their home planet, were left for the Irinauts. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. The Solar Sun is their last hope, and their last escape from these beings, but what's to be found there will change everything.

What happens when the planet you are from no longer sustains life because of the generations that lived before you. The blue marble that shines so brightly like a Gem in our solar system has gone, replaced with a dark and poisonous planet. Ten years ago the earth had a major Exodus, evacuating as many humans as possible. Luna was left behind to face the devastation, to try and survive in a bleak and obsolete world. Barely able to breathe the toxic air, life is no longer about living, but surviving.
