2177: Geneticists have discovered a previously dormant gene in humans that have been activated in some humans - caused by climate change. This gene controls humans when they die and turn them into monsters, hungry for human flesh.
Yet, scientists have found a way to control the gene that allows people to control the fundamentals of nature, and Sorin Dentrov has been one of the chosen few kids selected for this groundbreaking new experiment.
But everyone has secrets, and this experiment may have secrets to hide, too.

100 years into the future, biology has given way to a new humanoid race, the Supernaturals. However, survival for them isn't easy in a world where they are criminalized and oppressed.
