Around around the Bend

When rebel Heroes threaten their relationship, Andrew must leave Azalea to protect her from harm, but he can't tell her why he's leaving her or they'll kill her. So he sets off on his own to kill the people who did this to his family from the inside. His plan is to become one of them and gain their trust, however long it takes, and slowly kill them from the inside with the help of an unexpected companion. Who is this person?
