I was so tempted to throw the lamp at him.   -  Catherine Marie Cheney is your typical eighteen year old girl who is starting university. She's got a brain, she's got good looks, she's got the attitude that makes her believe she'll get through her first year without any difficulties.   Of course, not everyone's story goes as planned. Attending the same university is her room-mate's cocky best friend, DéAndrew Jordan. Their different interests is apparently making life attract them to each other even more.
