A PeachxLuigi Novel

When Luigi, a young, illegal immigrant, enters the Mushroom Kingdom, smuggled by his twin brother, Mario, he hopes that life will be an endless opportunity for him to explore and experience.

But in the recesses of his mind, Luigi is haunted by an unseen demon, a monster he wished he could have left behind in his home in Italy. Terrorized by these shadows, Luigi wishes nothing more than to hide or be forgotten. But when the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom itself starts to take a mysterious fancy to the quiet, funny, and shy individual which works around the kingdom, Luigi finds himself slowly reaching back, and he begins to share with her the life he wished to forget...

A word she had longed to hear, yet feared the most. Would he accept it? Or would he push her away again, just like before? The door creaked open. Her heart pounded. Sharad's sharp gaze met hers. "What are you hiding?" Her breath hitched. She wasn't ready for this. Not yet.
