Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....Complete

I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. It's 2500 and the world is still suffering from the disastrous effects of World War 3. Plague, the result of the recent biochemical war, sweeps across Eurasia, leaving millions dead in its wake. Even the best scientists in Europe are powerless against it. The main reason for the general misery is this. Europe is now under the tyrannical rule of the Democratic Republic of America, and this has wreaked havoc upon the streets of Europe. Poverty, starvation and disease now fill even the greatest of Europe's cities. They hold a cautious peace treaty with the Oceanic Union, but of course, this doesn't come without a price. However, for Europe at least, there is a glimmer of hope. For the growing resistance has finally managed to recruit the greatest criminals of the 26th century to spark the beginning of the greatest rebellion in human history. Unfortunately for them, the 'greatest criminals of the 26th century' are teenagers. And even in this day and age, teenagers still bring their insecurities and petty rivalries with them, wherever they go.
