Grace McNeil tried to stay under the radar in her small town of Pinoa, especially in school. She had her friends, she enjoyed her activities, and liked her quiet life. She wasn't popular and refused to play the popularity games, refused to spread rumors, and didn't share her opinions with anyone but her sister and closest friends. But, Jace Meyers had always watched her, always adored her, always wanted her, and one day decides she is his. He claims her as his girlfriend by simply giving her his class ring and telling her she belonged to him. She was furious and fought against it. But he was popular, he was a star jock, he knew how to play the popularity games, and how to run the town rumor mill the teens called the "Pinoa Pipeline". He told everyone she was his girlfriend, and nothing she could do changed anyone's belief in that. He even threatens her crush to stay away from her. Her parents even encourage her to go along with it, to give Jace a chance. Now, Grace must figure out whether to join in or how to beat him at his own game. Does she go along with it and hope he eventually gets tired of it all, or maybe fall for him, like her friends suggest, or does she use the Pinoa Pipeline and play the popularity games to get rid of him?

Guardians of Freecaster High #1 "That doesn't make any sense. You were the one who left me. You didn't care anymore." "If I didn't care, Alexis, then why is it I can't touch another girl unless I'm imagining you?" He pushes against me, trapping me against the wall, his minty beer breath skating across my lips. "J-Jace, you don't have t-to do this," I stammer, already losing the fight as my body melts against his. Jace's hand moves to trace his thumb across my bottom lip. "Why do I obsess about kissing you again? Why do memories of holding you still haunt me?" His face pinches in agony. "Why can't I do the right fucking thing and leave you alone?" _______________________________________________ Alexis 'Lexi' Young has four goals; pass her senior year of high school, buy her own wheels, get accepted to culinary school, and forget that her ex-boyfriend ever existed. Seems easy enough, right? Nope! Not when the school across town burns to the ground and all the students are sent to her school. Included in those new students is none other than Jace Hall, Lexi's ex, and his motorcycle riding, street fighting, off the wall friends. As for Jace, he'll forever regret breaking Lexi's heart, but it was either that or put her in the line of danger. Now that she's in arms reach, staying away is a lot harder to do. Especially when everything she does drives him crazy. But being part of the Guardians means trouble is never far behind, and getting close to Lexi again could put a target on her back. She wants to resist old temptations and protect her heart. He wants nothing more than to pull her close and keep her safe. But are you ever really safe when kissing your ex? ______________________________________________ Recommended age is 17+ for cursing, sexual content, and violence Best Ranking: #1 in HighSchool Romance 6/4/2022 #3 in teenlove 6/3/22 #1 in MatureThemes 1/11/21 #8 in Drama 12/31/20 Copyright © Chelsea Frey 2020 All rights reserved

You know the old saying fake it til you make it? Well my best friend took that a little too seriously. Caitlyn came up with a crazy scheme to help me finally get the guy I had been crushing on for three years. Her plan was a little unorthodox to say the least. She decided that her and her boyfriend Colton should stage a break up so I could pretend to date him for a month. He was the quarterback of the football team and the most popular guy in school. She said dating him would make the guys at our school finally stop seeing me as a shy, undateable nerd. She said I would have my pick of any guy after that, including my crush Takashi. It was the most ridiculous plan I had ever heard of. There was no way anyone would actually believe me and Colton were dating. He was the quarterback of the football team. It would have probably been easier to convince the whole school that I was dating the President. The problem was, I knew she was right. It was probably the only way I could get Takashi (my crush) to see me as girlfriend material and I wanted that more than anything in the world. Plus, Caitlyn's crazy schemes usually worked and I was desperate, so I reluctantly agreed to it. The weirdest part of the whole thing was, her boyfriend Colton used to be my best friend before him and her started dating and she gradually took his place as my best friend. That was four years ago and him and I weren't near as close as we used to be. Now he was just my best friend's boyfriend. CONTENT WARNING: Very mature themes & sexual content - 18+ only! ' "Where are they, Jace? We are going to be late for class." I stated in an irritated tone. Jace just chuckled at me and clapped me on the shoulder. "Chill, they are almost here." I rolled my eyes and unlocked my phone, wanting to collect my rewards on my game. Soon after, I heard the front doors of the school open, and every other male in the hall started to whistle at who I assumed was the girls. I'm sure they were strutting in and probably wearing outfits that couldn't even be classified as clothes. Once the girls stopped in front of us, Amy went directly to Jace. At least, that's what I could tell from my perifrial view of them. I kept my eyes on my phone as Amy introduced the new girl, and once Amy said her name, my head snapped up, the grip I had on my backpack tightening profusely. My eyes instantly landed on hers as she started back at me with those bright hazel eyes. I was instantly confused, shocked, happy, and pissed off all at the same time. There in front of me stood the one person who could always bring me to my knees in seconds, the one person that made my heart beat out of my chest with just one look. In front of me stood her, Lily.'
