Romance
Grace McNeil tried to stay under the radar in her small town of Pinoa, especially in school. She had her friends, she enjoyed her activities, and liked her quiet life. She wasn't popular and refused to play the popularity games, refused to spread rumors, and didn't share her opinions with anyone but her sister and closest friends. But, Jace Meyers had always watched her, always adored her, always wanted her, and one day decides she is his. He claims her as his girlfriend by simply giving her his class ring and telling her she belonged to him. She was furious and fought against it. But he was popular, he was a star jock, he knew how to play the popularity games, and how to run the town rumor mill the teens called the "Pinoa Pipeline". He told everyone she was his girlfriend, and nothing she could do changed anyone's belief in that. He even threatens her crush to stay away from her. Her parents even encourage her to go along with it, to give Jace a chance. Now, Grace must figure out whether to join in or how to beat him at his own game. Does she go along with it and hope he eventually gets tired of it all, or maybe fall for him, like her friends suggest, or does she use the Pinoa Pipeline and play the popularity games to get rid of him?

Side note: never fall for your fake boyfriend. When my best friend convinced me to write a love letter to my crush, I didn't expect it to all go south. Because instead of the most realistic scenario-him reading the letter and rejecting me privately-the last thing I'd ever expected to happen did. The letter doesn't end up in his locker. But in the locker of one of the most popular football players in the senior class, Ian Bale. Who also just happens to be my crush's older brother. Luckily, he promises to keep it a secret. But our actions start spreading rumors about us and in the next minute, I'm thrown into a fake relationship. But it works out for the both of us. Ian saves me from potential embarrassment while I help get his friends off his back about his dating life (or lack thereof). However, as the month progresses, I find myself enjoying more and more of his company. From his cheesy pick-up lines to his sense of wonder and even his nerdy glasses. My priorities begin to shift and I can't help but be a little terrified of the prospect of trusting another guy again. But I think I can make an exception. For fans of Jenny Han, Cookie O'Gorman, and happily ever afters with a sprinkling of real world problems, get ready to dive into the first installment of this beachside romance.
