Juniper Young, also known as the Q'wati, is an adopted Native American woman who has only ever known the supernatural world. Juniper is Jacob Black's best friend, though she's had a crush on him since the two met as kids. When Jacob shifts and is introduced to the world of vampires and werewolves as well the two are thrown for a loop. Juniper soon learns what she's capable of, and nothing will ever be the same again.

Bella Swan has caused quite consistent problems for the couple. From her attitude in the beginning, to messing with fate. And she continues to do so when a large army comes after Bella's daughter, Renesmee. Along with the impending battle, Jacob and Juniper are about to welcome another person into the world- and their lives.
