It's been a year since Grace died and Thomas Shelby is finally getting back on his feet until Selina Rosell knocks him back down. " Life's a game, Tommy. You either play or be killed"
" I could kill you right now" Tommy threatened as he grabbed my neck slightly choking me.
Though I'm sure he did it to make me fear him, I felt nothing but heat and desire rise inside of me making me smile.
" Is that what you fucking want?" Tommy asked as he pushed me up against the wall with his hand still around my neck.
I chuckled at the impact.
" Why not? Here" I said as I grabbed his hand and led it to the knife I had in my thigh holster.
My skin tingled at the sensation of his rough left hand that slid against my soft skin. I lifted my leg up and placed his hand on the knife.
" A knife is more efficient" I informed him as he looked at it.
" So is a gun" Tommy said as he stepped back and pointed a gun towards my face.
I didn't react, I only smirked as I stepped closer until I felt the cold hard metal touch my forehead.
" Do it, Tommy. What's stopping you?" I said as I pulled back the safety on the gun.
" Fuck!" Tommy yelled as he walked away from me and looked out the window. He rubbed the back of his neck before he threw some papers off of my desk.
" What's the matter, Tommy?"
" You took it, you took it without fucking asking"
" Took what?"
" My fucking heart"

With the blades sewn into their flat caps and the weapons tucked into their jackets, people bowed their heads when passing them in the streets. You were considered lucky to have not had a run in with any of the three elder Shelby brothers. Arthur was the eldest. He was known for his fighting. You would often find him in the ring against somebody who was not his size. He went mad during the war and his return was nothing hit a relief for his mind. But when thinking he had finally escaped the war, one had started in his head. Arthur Shelby was his own enemy. Thomas was the second eldest - the most feared. He had a head for business and more common sense than his older brother. He had icy eyes which very rarely softened at the sight of anything. Dorothy Monroe is a petite woman with a heart too big for her chest. She's pure, kind, she looked at the world and determined all the colours of nature were miracles and needed to be remembered. She's loved photography ever since her father brought a camera home and even had a gift with the newly designed lenses ever since she could wrap her small hands around the clunks of metal. Thomas Shelby: gangster; and war hero; he reads the devils script as if it were the morning newspaper - the list will go on. I don't need to say much more, you already know him. The Shelby family, as part of Tommy's expansion plan, bought a large area of the woods on the outskirts of Small Heath, far away from the Birmingham smog, there they built safe houses and kept heavy machinery; maybe even once they kept a large crate of stolen guns, supposedly belonging to the Government. Unbeknownst to Dorothy, who stumbled around the woods (a bulky camera in hand), she had explored the woods many times, taking photos of all the things that shined bright enough, but had never come across the peculiar buildings that held many dangers. That is, of course, until she knocks upon one of the doors, ready to give an earful to whoever had built over this precious patch of land, only to come face to face with one Thomas Shelby. -loosely follows the plot of season 1- *disclaimer* I do not own the Peaky Blinders or any of Steven Knights characters, only the story of Dorothy and her own plot line.
